Who are the 2010 Construction Hall of Fame Inductees? Top Elie Destruel
Elie Destruel bought Mead Clark in 1944 and was the driving force in making the family-owned business a vital resource for Northern California contractors and consumers by supplying quality lumber, tools, hardware and other building products. He was a leader in the construction industry until his death in 1979.
Jere Giblin
Jere Giblin established Giblin Associates, a respected consulting geotechnical engineering practice, in 1984. He was instrumental in numerous North Bay projects over the years, including buildings at Airport Business Park, the downtown cinemas, wineries, housing subdivisions, and remodeling at Infineon Raceway.
Jim Morris
Jim Morris had a successful career as a well-known contractor in Mendocino County. He served on the NCBE Board of Directors from 1990 to 1993 and helped the Builders Exchange provide services to our members in Mendocino when he served as our Mendocino County Staff Representative from 2006-2008.
Jim Westrich
Jim Westrich excelled in his career as General Contractor and Real Estate Developer in both Sonoma and Lake Counties. He served as a member of the NCBE Board of Directors in the 1970s and then served as President in 1980-81, during which time the Builders Exchange created its Political Action Committee.
