On-site Plan Room

Plans and specifications for many projects are available in our Plan Room in Santa Rosa. Plan room booths and tables are there for your use.

Electronic Plan Room

The Electronic Plan Room is a benefit of your membership. Members who wish to use the service will be charged a one-time start-up fee of $150.

Overnight Checkout of Plans

You may reserve plans to take with you overnight or over the weekend. An "After Hours" plans box gives you plan access even when NCBE is closed.

Membership Directory

Includes names, phone numbers, and other information about all NCBE members (including alphabetical and classified listings according to license classification or work specialty).

Home Improvement Guide

An additional companion resource - the "Home Improvement Guide" - is also provided to public agencies and the public to put NCBE members in contact with prospective clients.

Weekly Building News

An informative publication mailed to your office every week or available online as a pdf download. Includes current information on projects bidding, bid results, building permits, and legal information such as liens & notices of completion. The weekly news also contains numerous articles of interest to those in the construction industry.

Educational Seminars

Seminars and workshops on various topics relating to the construction industry are held throughout the year such as, Lien Law, Business Management, Cal/OSHA, & more!

Membership Classification

North Coast Builders Exchange is a member-operated, non-profit association established in 1954 to serve the construction industry. Our membership is comprised of general contractors, specialty contractors of all types, suppliers, manufacturers, architects, engineers, and many other construction-related businesses. We provide a professional means of communication between all of these essential segments of the construction industry.

In addition to the services and benefits described inside this brochure, the Exchange is also active in the governmental process. We make every effort to ensure that your voice is heard when issues arise that may affect you and other NCBE members. In addition to our involvement on the local city and county level, NCBE is an integral member of BELN (Builders Exchanges Legislative Network) which enables us to monitor and influence state legislation. Our political action committee (NCBEPAC) actively reviews candidates and issues for local and state elections, making endorsement recommendations to the NCBE Board of Directors as deemed appropriate. Throughout the North Coast area, NCBE serves as THE governmental advocate for you and the entire Construction Industry!
